Alison Goes West: Part 1

Drier air, evergreen trees, coastal towns, fresh seafood....I could go on. I discovered the western states thanks to a very welcoming cousin and her family my sophomore year of college when I spent the summer in Reno, NV. Everything about summer in the west is perfect. Hot days but dry; cool nights but not cold. I love it so much. I'm only sad to say I haven't experienced any seasons other than summer.

With my main man finishing law school and the bar exam we were looking for a trip to celebrate and he has heard me rave about the West enough to finally agree to a western vacation. Here is a little sneak peak from Seattle. I will have more to come in addition to a Paper Pearl Pacific Northwest Travel Guide!
