Tasty Tuesday: The Latte

Some days you just need that Starbucks $4 latte. I understand that. Other days, you know you can do it yourself. I was pretty good at it, but the one thing that was missing was that frothy goodness on top. I don't even really enjoy slurping it, I just like knowing that it's there. Somehow it makes it that much better. I love to French press my coffee in the morning because it's usually just me drinking it. I sometimes add soy or coconut milk for a different taste. When I do, I always wish it had the foamy I found a Aerolatte milk frother for a steal on Amazon! It is tiny and works wonders. Watch the videos of me making the entire latte and then frothing the milk. It is sort of like watching grass grow but I thought it would be fun to show you the frothing in action. The app I used for the video was 8mm. Enjoy your latte on this chilly, rainy spring day. -Laurie

  1. can't tell if you heated the milk first (microwave for up to 1 minute depending on microwave strength and cup thickness. changes the taste of the milk and makes for more bubbles!
