Back & Bustlin'

I'm back! Thank you for your patience as I took some time away to get married and honeymoon and settle myself back into normalcy with the husband! We relaxed completely and came back mid-November it seems to the joys of the holidays. With Thanksgiving upon us in a matter of days, I am jumping right in to the holiday season. I'm hosting my first Thanksgiving this year for my in-laws and will soon begin Christmas shopping (I've usually started at this point!) and decorating for our first Christmas together.
So I plan on making up for lost time! Get ready for gift ideas, holiday decor, recipes, you name it! Meanwhile, skip the big stores with the cards that everyone has and go ahead and grab your Christmas cards from Fanciful Ink!
David and I certainly don't need or even want anything for Christmas because we were so blessed with great wedding gifts from some of the best friends and family ever. I didn't want to make a Christmas list this year simply because of that. Our home and hearts are overflowing so I felt somewhat selfish making this list. However, I thought these things would be good to share-you might want to add it to your list as well!

Christmas Wish List

Kate Spade necklace and earrings- I love the tiny "Mrs." necklace and it's appropriate now since I am a Mrs.! The earrings are a unique spin on a simple stud that are classic and can last for many years to come.
Rose Gold from BaubleBar- I have really grown to love rose gold after getting some shoes for our engagement pictures. It's such a feminine, happy metal color.
FitBit One- I loved my FitBit Ultra and have searched high and low for it, but have come to the conclusion that it is gone. However, the new FitBit One is new and improved! It tracks your calories burned, steps, stairs, and even your sleep.
Lululemon- I LOVE Lululemon's workout clothes. It's a staple for my Barre Amped classes, especially now that I am getting certified in two weeks to teach!
Of course, I am huge Kate Spade fan and her Celebrations letterpress set is adorable to have on hand for written correspondence you may need! The business card holder is nice and slim too (for future endeavors of Fanciful Ink!) And my dream wish list item is by no means something I need...but after the build up of books in my house and entertaining the thought of moving to an e-reader, I thought this was a good alternative for on-the-go blogging, keeping up with Fanciful Ink and being an e-reader. Naturally, I would rather have something compatible with my MacBook and iPhone for instant transition between devices.

  1. You're back! We've missed you :)
I'm thinking of gift-giving this year and have looked at some DIY ideas -- cooking style! Pine nut butter in cute little jam jars, Christmas cranberries in tins... or maybe even some oatmeal bath soaks! If you need some blog inspiration, I've had fun hunting down ideas and would love to see what you come up with. There's just something special in the extra little bit of love in a DIY gift!
