Sparkle & Shine

Happy December! It's my favorite month because of Christmas and of course my birthday (5 days away, what are you getting me?). Also, I feel like one can get away with a lot of glitter at this time of year. Christmas somehow just calls for glitter. It makes things a little more magical. I've opted for sparkle and shine to be my holiday look this year. I want to make so many of these things but there is so little time! Take a look:

These glittery rocks would be a nice vase filler.

I need to read up on this more but I love the idea of using lace as a stencil on something that will shine with a pattern.

Flowers don't usually need a lot of extra oomph but something simple like floating sequins in a vase with a single flower is just enough.

Like Mr. Louboutin well knows, a little pop of color as you walk away is spectacular. A little glint of color and sparkle? Even better.

A little more of a natural take on sparkle...I have seen these in so many stores. You can fill up a bag at a science store in the mall and glue a magnet to the back. Instant sophistication for your fridge.

Glitzy branches in silver, gold or white glitter combine the outdoorsy look with some glamour.

I meant to pick up some of these supplies the other day to make these beautiful glasses but I was too rushed. This is perfect for holiday parties, especially for New Years Eve!

Need to save a little? Grab some salt and food coloring and heat up the oven. Glitter.

I love C9 bulbs on Christmas trees. Don't toss the old ones that don't work if you have them. Dip them in glue and then in glitter.
