Making a memory jar is something you can get creative with if you have collected little things from trips, like some foreign currency or seashells. Add photos specific to that trip or that event and you have a unique shadow-box idea but with a jar that will be pretty on a shelf.
I love to use scrubs and making my own is even better. I mixed up brown sugar and honey a few nights ago and it was the best exfoliant. Take the work out of the mixing for someone and go ahead and package it with these recipes:
Hot cocoa hits the spot when cold weather is chilling. Make your own or buy a mix and add marshmallows or crushed peppermints.
When soup is already mixed for you, it makes the savory goodness that much better (not much effort!) Grab a pretty jar that your recipient can keep and layer the ingredients. Don't forget to add instructions.
Find sewing goodies in the same color or color family and add together in a jar. Make a pin cushion for the lid and add a few pretty pins to it for a sweet gift.
Make mini pies in a jar. No one turns down pie!
These jars are good ideas for a theme...think of things that are energizing like green tea or power bars and put together a few. Or try something filled with goodies for pampering or something soothing and refreshing.
