Table Scapes

We have entered into November, the time of year when entertaining is just starting. Now is the time to prep, create, brainstorm and execute designs for the holiday season. Anthropologie has an adorable display for their tableware themes as well as a cute idea for unconventional place-settings.

Miss Woods:

I love the contrast of the intricate, exotic blue and the simple beauty of nature as well as the softness of the moss and the feathers against the hardness of the sticks and rocks. This would be perfect for a fall dinner with friends, filled with seasonal vegetables and cider.

Madame Palette:

Painterly stripes make this plate stand out among the other white plates. This would be a pretty table composition in a traditional dining room with watercolors adorning the walls.

Jane Prep:

This fun combination of colors and patterns is great year-round. It would be a nice pop of color for an outdoor fall picnic, especially in early November. Vineyard, anyone?

Lady Femmerly:

Brunches are my favorite and this setting is so ladylike. I am in love with all the silverware to one side rather than separated like it should be and rich, jewel tone flowers on the other side as if you could simply eat this delicate meal with a flower. The deep plum and pale grey play nicely together. It looks like a lazy, drizzly fall mid-morning on this table and those days are ideal for brunches with your favorite females. The only thing this place setting is missing is a spot of tea.
