Merry & Bright

Today's post is another feature on another Christmas card design! This one is called Merry & Bright and is a beautiful, vibrant red with a white design featuring the words from my favorite Christmas song, White Christmas, "May Your Days Be Merry and Bright."
I especially love the borders of this design, and the font is the same font used in the opening credits of It's A Wonderful Life. The card comes with a beautiful red envelope that has shimmer to it and the inside is the inverse of the outside design and reads "And May All Your Christmases Be White."
Red is such a bold color, and is typically used in several holidays even though it is mostly identified with Christmas. There is no escaping it this time of year!
Here are a few Christmas red things to inspire you to go all out red:

Holiday parties are about to kick into gear. I put together this look on Polyvore for an all red statement look and a little glitz with the gold:

Simple stripes in red and white with a two-color crisp color pallet can look fresh with solid color chargers, plates, vases and flowers.

THIS is a bold red! Red glass is so rich looking. Even though this table scape is pretty modern, the red keeps it classy. The bold stars and snowflakes are perfect eye-catching pieces.

Large white vases filled with colored ornaments and the three hanging red wreaths look so festive and relaxing on the eye. Those wreaths look soft and full and create a flowing line with a dramatic color for a Christmas mantle decoration. The white vases can have so many uses beyond this mantle as well.

For me, Christmas is not complete without red velvet cake. The red cake is so brilliant in color and is amazingly delicious. The added garnish on top is adorable. I love anything sparkly and edible.
