Patterned Walls

Wallpaper is coming back full force, in bold patterns and beautiful color combinations, even with a little sheen to it. If I had a permanent abode, I would definitely pick a wall, any wall, and add some splashy pattern to it with a contrast of a bold color. I love the look of a minimal piece of furniture, a punchy wallpaper pattern and a scene-stealing focal piece, much like the mirror below in the first example.
Don't be afraid to power play a fabulous pattern, it's in style and if you pick something you love and is classy enough to change through the years, you're golden.

Another great color palette is grey and yellow. This medallion pattern is a popular style that can be exotic and funky or stylish and classic.




Also, can we talk about this contraption? I don't know where to find this but it astonishes me. Eating a design on bread? Tone on tone? Yes, please. That makes the sandwich that much better. It's over the top. I love it.
