Patterned Walls

Wallpaper is coming back full force, in bold patterns and beautiful color combinations, even with a little sheen to it. If I had a permanent abode, I would definitely pick a wall, any wall, and add some splashy pattern to it with a contrast of a bold color. I love the look of a minimal piece of furniture, a punchy wallpaper pattern and a scene-stealing focal piece, much like the mirror below in the first example.
Don't be afraid to power play a fabulous pattern, it's in style and if you pick something you love and is classy enough to change through the years, you're golden.

That. Mirror.

Subtle color with a pop of turquoise and a little whimsy with a glittery skull.

This tile is amazing. Truly amazing.

Why not have a big pattern in a small space? It's deserving of some cool wallpaper and chandelier action.

This color combination is powerful and very eclectic. It's not for the faint of heart.

This sweeter version of a wall pattern is likely painted on very carefully and is great for a little boys room, especially with the color palette of grey and orange.

Another great color palette is grey and yellow. This medallion pattern is a popular style that can be exotic and funky or stylish and classic.

Also, can we talk about this contraption? I don't know where to find this but it astonishes me. Eating a design on bread? Tone on tone? Yes, please. That makes the sandwich that much better. It's over the top. I love it.
