Orange You Glad It's October?

Halloween has a very odd and awesome color duo:orange and black. Orange, for the harvest and all things orangey that go along with that, like pumpkins, leaves and orange harvest moons. Black, because Halloween was once a celebration of the dead and with that comes darkness and its associated color.
I decided to focus on orange today because it is such a happy and invigorating color. It can be vibrant for spring and summer or spiced up with darker tones for fall and winter. Here are some great ideas of orange fashion pairings and ways to pop the color in your home:

Grey and orange are unexpected and a nice fall duo.

I love this bright damask with the subtle pale blue. Blue and orange are complementary colors so they typically play well together!

A beautiful mantle for your creative juices! This is perfect for October and November since nothing in this screams Halloween, just a lovely, classy fall.
