Wedding Programs: Morgan & Matt

I have been a very busy bee this past week, traveling to Louisiana, taking computer classes, and traveling to Jackson, Tennessee for my dear friend Morgan's wedding. My grandmother, mother and their posse of wedding-makers along with Morgan's aunt and mom have been planning this wedding with meticulous detail, and the beautiful ceremony and reception reflected every bit of their efforts. I stepped in for my mom while she is on vacation and whipped up some of the flower arrangements alongside my grandmother.
My last endeavor on the design front was the wedding programs. I wanted something that worked as a whole design but could be broken down into smaller designs as well. The cream paper matched her invitations, as did the emblem and pieces of the design from the wedding invitations. The front of the trifold program featured the double "M" emblem as well as the couples names separated by a dark grey belly band that held the program together. When the band was slipped off, the wedding date emblem was revealed underneath.

When opened, the wedding party was on the left, and a sweet thank you from Morgan and Matt was on the opposite side folded in.

When completely opened, the program revealed an overall design with the wedding ceremony order in the center. On the right were directions to the reception as well as a loving memorial note for those who had passed on.

Folded, the back of the program gave the couple's new address and the backside of the belly band had my embossed logo on it.

Special thanks to David Montgomery and Gloria Montgomery for helping assemble these programs. I would still be working on them if it weren't for them!
I'll be highlighting more elements of the wedding throughout the week, so check back tomorrow!
